Fosters' Yard Rural Enterprise Park - Langworth, Lincoln
Fosters’ Yard occupies a prominent position in the centre of the village of Langworth, close to the historic City of Lincoln. This project involved the ambitious redevelopment of the whole site to deliver 14 new energy efficient workspaces to form a modern Rural Enterprise Park that supports investment and growth of the vibrant local economy.
Operating as a commercial yard for decades, when our team first encountered the site its aging infrastructure and under-occupied units created a visually dilapidated and harmful addition to the village. After preparing a detailed and meticulous planning application that would enable the entire redevelopment of the site, the plans for over 20,000 sq.ft (1,900m²) of modern employment space, delivered over 14 purpose-built units were presented to the LPA, together with a number of supporting technical reports, such as detailed drainage designs and traffic management plans.
The council’s planning committee voted unanimously in support of the development, noting that the high-quality development and regeneration opportunity presented a huge economic boost for the local area. Following approval our client’s, Truelove Property & Construction, commenced work on the site soon after and the units are now available for lease.

The former haulage depot has undergone full redevelopment following approval of our planning application. The site was originally unfit for modern business use and a blight to nearby residents, prone to surface water flooding with no drainage, formal road layout, modern infrastructure or basic staff facilities.
